Frequently Asked Questions

How much does counseling cost?

$160 – Initial diagnostic assessment (90-minute session)
$140 – Psychotherapy (60-minute counseling session)

Don’t forget that insurance can greatly reduce the cost of counseling sessions. In some cases, insurance will cover 100% of the cost, but most people will have a co-pay or co-insurance.

Keep in mind that even though you have in-network insurance, you may still have to first meet your deductible before insurance benefits are covered. It is important to know what your health insurance benefits are and what is covered in accordance with your stated benefits in your insurance plan.

All co-pays and co-insurance fees are due at the time services are rendered. Even if you haven’t met your deductible, you will receive a significant discount from our standard rate by only having to pay the approved in-network rate. In addition, any payment made is applied to your deductible.

If you have secondary insurance coverage, we must have that information related to your other insurance in order for your primary insurance to cover the cost of your care based on the insurances’ coordination of benefits policy.

Fees are established within the median range of behavioral health service for diagnostic, psychotherapy and group psychotherapy services, and are considered reasonably priced within industry norms of the area.

What if I don't have insurance?

If you don’t have insurance but may qualify for Medicaid, we encourage you to start there, first. If your income exceeds that of Medicaid eligibility, we have options.

Our standard cash rates for services are $160 for an intake assessment and $140 for ongoing, 60-minute psychotherapy sessions. If this amount is too high, you can speak with your therapist about an adjusted rate for services. Because we are a private practice, this is a conversation best had with your assigned therapist.

How do I make an appointment?

First, visit our How to Get Started page. We will review your insurance coverage so we can discuss your responsible costs, then match you with a therapist based on your area of need.

Once you begin service with us, you can view availability and request appointments with your therapist through our therapy portal. Or you can contact your therapist directly.

Are you a Christian counseling agency?

We are a private practice that believes in the restorative power of the Bible. If you are seeking biblical counseling, we have therapists who are skilled and trained in incorporating God’s Word, faith, and prayer with traditional therapy.

However, we understand that not everyone believes the same. Your therapist will tailor your counseling program based on your personal preferences.
