Our Story
Williams Counseling Services is a private practice that emphasizes personal growth for the individual that entrusts the process into our care. We adhere to the Gandhian belief, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” The world can be a complex place and many times individuals seek to define their existence based upon expectations and measures that can be worrisome and many times unrealistic. At Williams Counseling Services, we work to help the individual make sense of the complexities of life and to develop a personalized plan to help the individual discover self-validation and fulfillment.
We are a group of dedicated staff that is waiting to hear from you. No problem is too big or too small. Many people delay seeking counseling because they believe “it’s foolish.” Nothing could be further from the truth, because if you experience it, and it’s impairing your ability to experience joy in your life, then it is not foolish.

Williams Counseling Services’ mission is to assist the individual in rediscovering the person who has become buried deep inside and help the inner person emerge. It starts with us: Helping the voiceless have a voice.

We are committed to promoting and enhancing individual’s, couples, and family’s well-being. We seek to empower our clients and provide services that promote hope and recovery. We strive for improved quality of services and quality of life for those whose lives have been impacted by mental illness, family issues, or substance abuse.
Core Values
Williams Counseling Services’ six core values underscore the obligations in our mission and vision: We, Empower, Commitment, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence. These core values define who we are, our culture, and how we care for our clients and their families. Our values are more than just words: They affect outcomes in our daily interactions with our clients, their families and with each other. Taking the first letter of each word – We, Empower, Commitment, Advocacy, Respect, Excellence – creates a powerful acronym, WE CARE, that reminds us of our role at Williams Counseling Services. These core values come together as six promises we make as individuals and as a private practice to those we serve.
